For new claims this service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For enquiries about existing claims, this service is available from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

Where urgent legal representation is not required, ARAG require claims to be put in writing.

A claim form can be downloaded at www.arag.co.uk/newclaims or requested by telephoning us on 0330 303 1955 between 9am and 5pm weekdays (except bank holidays).

The completed claim form can be sent to us by email or post. Further details are set out in the claim form itself.

Risk specialists are on hand to advise you on a range of topics, including:

  • Construction safety, fire safety, occupational health, water safety and asbestos safety

If you have a legal or tax problem relating to your business, we recommend you call our confidential legal and tax advice helpline. Legal advice is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, and tax advice is available between 9am and 5pm on weekdays (except bank holidays).

We give advice about business-related legal matters within UK and EU law and tax matters within the UK. Your query will be dealt with by a qualified specialist who is experienced in handling legal and tax-related matters. Use of this service does not constitute reporting a claim.

If you are planning redundancies and need extra legal support, we can arrange specialist consultancy assistance for you. Redundancy assistance will help you to implement a fair selection process and ensure that redundancy notices are correctly served. The service offers document review and telephone or written advice and is subject to a charge. For an employee (including family members permanently living with them) needing confidential help and advice, qualified counsellors are available to provide telephone support on any matter that is causing your employee upset or anxiety, from personal problems to bereavement.

If you suffer glass breakage you can call upon the services of our selected specialist provider who will effect a rapid repair.

If you are covered for glass breakage under this policy they will issue two separate invoices, an invoice for you to cover the amount of any policy excess and recoverable VAT and an invoice which is sent directly to us for the remaining costs.

If the glass is not insured you will be solely responsible for the entire cost of repairs.
